Unusual
Shapes.
As a business owner, I understand
the desire and need to stand out from the pack. The company
that can create a unique niche for itself has a better chance
of survival as well.
This is why unique shapes
in logo design are created. The serious boxed in rectangular
and square shapes are not for everyone.
Circular shapes are a good
way of creating a softer impression. Planets are round, cells
in your body are round, wheels and cycles are round. There's
a significant message in the circular shape: and that being
a completion and wholeness.
More and more companies are
opting for the logo inset into a circular shape (regardless
of the shape of the logo!). You might consider it too.
You can also add the circular
shape within the square field, let's say in a tradeshow booth
for example.
Organic edges work well too.
Organic edges are usually a simple freeflow design that breaks
away from the confines of the usual square shape. There are
plenty of possibilities in adding this element to your logo-rug.
I personally think that the
oval shape is neglected more than all the others and deserves
a closer look. Example, text and design elements are easier
to fit into the oval shape. Consider this a genuine possibility
if you're undecided.
Obviously, with custom logo
rug fabrication, these shapes are now a possibility. In fact,
the possibilities are literally wide-open. This is the beauty
of custom production.
It's ultimately all about
creating a satisfactory experience for you, the end user,
and giving you exactly what you're looking for.
I hope these tips have helped...
Cheers to you and good health!
