We produced this giant logo carpet (see pic below) for a learning center in Delaware. This preschool needed a 12 x 20 ‘welcome’ entry rug and we had no problems building it for them. FYI – sometimes it’s hard to get full size images of these bigger scale rugs, we do our best (see pic below).

Jeanne said “Russell we got our rug and it looks beautiful. Has it been scotch guarded? Thanks Jeanne”

The answer to that question would be: Yes, all of the materials we use are pre-treated at the mill with a type of stain resistant, teflon-like spray.  This is done prior to the finishing process of the roll goods.

Our method of production works like this: After agreeing with client on a computer generated design, the artwork, we determine exact colors we will use. We then order each color separately from the mill. Let’s say the background color in the rug will be Black and the size of the rug is 12 x 20. We’ll order a 12 x 20 black piece and whatever other colors we need.

Then we produce a full scale template. We cut and inlay all of the colors we’ll be using and these are inlaid into the black ‘field’ piece.

After inlay, we clean up with a top shearing process, then we reinforce all inlay with special adhesives. Finally we add a secondary backing, either a soft felt or rubberized non-slip, and we finish it off with a professional edge-binding.

Your custom logo rug is then photographed and rolled up and wrapped for shipping. That’s it. Get a Fast and Easy Quote For Your Project! Click Here!

Here is a good example of a locker room logo carpet. 2010 was a great year for us on the university level. Thanks to all of the colleges that had confidence in our abilities to produce their logo carpets.

Rob Morgan, head coach for the womens hockey team contacted us for this assignment. We quickly generated a few layout options and Rob selected a final version. Once the materials were ordered, we added the rug project into the lineup. Within 4 weeks the rug was completed. Get a Fast and Easy Quote For Your Project! Click Here!

We were asked to fabricate this fine specimen of a logo rug for the Mayor of Honolulu. We used a thicker plush carpet, yet commercial grade, for this project. We were very pleased with the finished results.  Size 8′ x 8′ – Get a Fast and Easy Quote For Your Project! Click Here!

The Etowah County Sheriffs Dept contacted us to fabricate their logo, as you can see below. This rug will be inset into existing commercial grade carpet by their local installation crew in Alabama.

Typically, the installers can lay the rug over the existing installation, and carefully  add a few nails to anchor it in place. Next, they would cut around the rug through the existing carpet, then pull up the existing cut-out.

Finally, it’s glued direct to the concrete surface underneath. That’s it. A fine custom ‘inset’ rug.  Size is 10′ x 10′ – Get a Fast and Easy Quote For Your Project! Click Here!

Drag Racing Logo Rug

by Russell Webb

Here’s a recent project we fabricated for a Pro Dragster Group. Commissioned by a sponsor. The rider is Angie Smith and quite capable of launching herself down the 1/4 mile track in 5-6 seconds.

We started with a photo – made a few adjustments in the artwork phase, then decided on a final version. It was a fun project… Finished rug is below. Get a Fast and Easy Quote For Your Project! Click Here!

Here’s a familiar looking logo – CIA Logo Rug. I like getting requests for projects like these… makes me feel all important and special. I was certainly on my best behavior with these guys… We used a plush residential quality carpet at their request.

Size 6′ round
Colors: 5

Here’s what Dr. DT had to say about his CIA logo rug project

“Russell – My rug arrived on Christmas eve and it meets my expectations in every respect.  I will be retiring from the Agency some time during the next year after 27 years of service.  The rug will be a lasting symbol of the challenges, opportunities, and unique experiences that I have been afforded during an incredibly rewarding career.  It was important to me that this project be done correctly and I have not been disappointed.  From concept to shipping the process has been characterized by friendly and prompt communication.  And it is hard to imagine that your thoroughness, attention to detail, and patience are replicated by any of your competitors.  I will recommend you to any of my colleagues who admire your work when they visit my home.” Thanks, DT

A lot of work goes into a project like this. It takes about 4-6 weeks to produce, although it really takes only about 1 week start to finish. We have nuumerous projects on the tables that are in production, so we usually need a window of several weeks to complete a project.

Yes, it’s possible to rush a project through, however we charge extra for rush fees and considering other factors, it’s usually a 10 day minimum to produce a custom rug. The exceptions are for small rugs, where we have materials in stock, and a simple logo to work with – then we may see a 7 day turnaround.

Locker Room Logo Rugs

by Russell Webb

Here are a couple pics from a recent locker room project. We can help you with layout ideas, concepts, and color selections.

There are a few possibilities in how you approach your locker room project. Will there be carpet installed wall to wall? Will the logo be inset before or after the installation?

Or will the rug be a loose lay area rug?

We can help you with developing your best strategy. We can supply you with all the materials you need, including logo inset, and instructions for getting your project completed easily and on schedule.

These are images that head coach Brian Boyer sent me after they installed the project. We produced a 3 x 10 logo for this room and a larger 8 x 10 logo in the main locker room (top pic).

Our strategy here was to supply all materials for the project, then we produced the logos separately. We rolled it all together and shipped to Arkansas State University  campus and they had a crew waiting to install.

The crew installed the wall to wall carpet, then cut-in the logo insets. This was the fast and easy approach. This was a typical commercial install where the carpet is glued directly to the floor. There is no padding used for a project like this.

We have helped many universities, high schools and private schools with their logo rug requests. How can we help you? Contact us here at this link. Or submit a quote request by completing the form at the top right corner of this page – just underneath the featured logo rug image – OR – find it on our Home Page – OR – call us at 760-938-2828.
