Here’s a familiar looking logo – CIA Logo Rug. I like getting requests for projects like these… makes me feel all important and special. I was certainly on my best behavior with these guys… We used a plush residential quality carpet at their request.

Size 6′ round
Colors: 5

Here’s what Dr. DT had to say about his CIA logo rug project

“Russell – My rug arrived on Christmas eve and it meets my expectations in every respect.  I will be retiring from the Agency some time during the next year after 27 years of service.  The rug will be a lasting symbol of the challenges, opportunities, and unique experiences that I have been afforded during an incredibly rewarding career.  It was important to me that this project be done correctly and I have not been disappointed.  From concept to shipping the process has been characterized by friendly and prompt communication.  And it is hard to imagine that your thoroughness, attention to detail, and patience are replicated by any of your competitors.  I will recommend you to any of my colleagues who admire your work when they visit my home.” Thanks, DT

A lot of work goes into a project like this. It takes about 4-6 weeks to produce, although it really takes only about 1 week start to finish. We have nuumerous projects on the tables that are in production, so we usually need a window of several weeks to complete a project.

Yes, it’s possible to rush a project through, however we charge extra for rush fees and considering other factors, it’s usually a 10 day minimum to produce a custom rug. The exceptions are for small rugs, where we have materials in stock, and a simple logo to work with – then we may see a 7 day turnaround.

Locker Room Logo Rugs

by Russell Webb

Here are a couple pics from a recent locker room project. We can help you with layout ideas, concepts, and color selections.

There are a few possibilities in how you approach your locker room project. Will there be carpet installed wall to wall? Will the logo be inset before or after the installation?

Or will the rug be a loose lay area rug?

We can help you with developing your best strategy. We can supply you with all the materials you need, including logo inset, and instructions for getting your project completed easily and on schedule.

These are images that head coach Brian Boyer sent me after they installed the project. We produced a 3 x 10 logo for this room and a larger 8 x 10 logo in the main locker room (top pic).

Our strategy here was to supply all materials for the project, then we produced the logos separately. We rolled it all together and shipped to Arkansas State University  campus and they had a crew waiting to install.

The crew installed the wall to wall carpet, then cut-in the logo insets. This was the fast and easy approach. This was a typical commercial install where the carpet is glued directly to the floor. There is no padding used for a project like this.

We have helped many universities, high schools and private schools with their logo rug requests. How can we help you? Contact us here at this link. Or submit a quote request by completing the form at the top right corner of this page – just underneath the featured logo rug image.

Best regards,

Russell Webb

I had fun putting this project together. We started with a few layout ideas and they chose the artwork seen in this top pic. There are a few ways to generate the artwork, but in most cases we are working with adobe illustrator files (.ai and .eps). If the original design is a simple image file like a .jpg, then there are ways to convert that art into the necessary vector format.

I used thick plush residential grade carpet for this project – it’s a nice logo design. Size 6′ x 8′. This was a surprise gift for a former graduate. The completed rug is below.

Military Logo Rug

by Russell Webb

We recently produced this fine custom rug for a client. This was produced with short pile commercial grade carpet, yet carves beautifully as you can see around the outside edge – rope effect. This client was looking for a good quality logo rug product that would pump up the troops and make a statement in their facility.

The size is 9′ ft round – featuring 4 colors.

Here’s a recent project for one of our clients. This was produced with thicker residential grade carpet. We received the image in .eps file format and quickly produced a few color variations. See top image below for final artwork. After carpet samples were approved, the rug then went into production and 3 weeks later we were ready to ship. See finished rug below.

You might notice variance in colors from artwork to finished product in this example. We can generally match up to most colors in your logo, changes occur when client authorizes those changes. The artwork is a guideline for choosing colors – ALL final decisions are based on carpet swatches that we send you and that YOU choose from.

We thought the rug looked pretty cool…Our client was pleased too, in his own words: “Simply Fantastic!”

Here’s a recent project for a church entry rug. Oval with a black border – a bit hard to see with black background of the image. Size 5 x 7. For this project, the client sent us a low-res image that needed to be converted into acceptable artwork – .eps vector format is preferred. We can recreate artwork upon request – it’s only $75.00.

We created a few layout options and they chose this oval shaped rug.

Red Logo Carpet Runner

by Russell Webb

If you need red runners for special events, then we can probably help you. By adding your logo, it takes it to the next level. You could even keep the logo very subtle and go with a tone on tone look. Example: a bright red runner with a darker red logo would have that effect. You could order the runner in a thick plush carpet or the more typical shorter commercial grade carpet.

We do get a lot of red carpet requests, usually runners like this one. With all the different red carpet events occurring throughout the year, it’s no surprise. Some runners are big scale like 6′ x 100′ and others are smaller at 3′ x 12′. We can do any size you need, even a 12′ x 200′!

Custom Military Mats

by Russell Webb

This was a project we produced for Hickam Air Force base recently. It’s a pretty straightforward logo rug, circular shape, nice and clean logo design. Size 8′ diameter with nonslip backing.

Showroom Logo Carpet

by Russell Webb

This is a good example of how a logo carpet is enhanced when adding a border or two. This is the most common way to enhance an ordinary text logo. We’ll usually create a few border layout options for the client when we’re in the artwork phase.

This project was used in a trade-show then placed in the showroom of the Oreck distributor. The carpet is a good quality commercial grade nylon. Some details were carved and beveled for a sharper look.
